This pump will flow up to 40% more coolant than stock pumps, it will dissipate heat better than the regular oem cast iron pumps, also lighter. This pump features high quality roller bearings, custom heavy duty impeller for maximum water flow and reduced cavitation at high RPM's. This pump will clear cam belt drives and most blower drives. Application: This water pump originally came out on these models.. 1955-68 SB Chevy 283-350 V8 Passenger Cars, 1969-70 Corvettes with 350 V8 Engines, 1955-1972 Light Duty Trucks with 350 V8 Engines. However this water pump will fit any SB Chevy from 1955 through 1985 when using the matching "short" water pump accessories and crank pulley. Material: Aluminum.
